Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation is crucial during pregnancy and postpartum but rarely prescribed!  WHY?!  If you are preparing for a sport, you practice and work the muscles.  If you pull a muscle, you rehab it!  This often includes therapy so why wouldn’t you also be encouraged to prepare for birth (basically an Olympic sport) and then rehab the muscles that were stretched and dealt with 9 months of pressure on them?  Let's change the narrative together!


Balanced Pelvic Health and Wellness is introducing the Balanced Birth and Beyond Program.  This comprehensive pelvic health and wellness program focuses on treatment during pregnancy and in the early postpartum period to focus on birth preparation, engaging the pelvic floor and abdominals and pain relief throughout pregnancy.  Postpartum focused on injury prevention, learning body mechanics for safety and to get abdominals engaged, nervous system management and pelvic muscle rehabilitation.  The program will be 3 visits during pregnancy, 3 visits postpartum including home visits as desired.
