Adrenal fatigue occurs when chronic stress overworks your body's stress response system, leaving you feeling depleted, foggy, and unable to keep up. 😓 But the root cause goes deeper than just the adrenal glands themselves – Instead, it all starts with your nervous system. 🧠

Adrenal fatigue typically progresses through three distinct stages:

1️⃣ Alarm Stage: The body’s initial response to stress, characterized by elevated cortisol levels and a heightened fight-or-flight response ⏰

2️⃣ Resistance Stage: As stress continues, the body adapts and tries to maintain balance, but cortisol levels may start to dip, leading to fatigue and mood changes. 😴

3️⃣ Exhaustion Stage: When stress becomes chronic, and the adrenals can no longer keep up, cortisol levels drop significantly, and symptoms intensify. 🪫
